I am currently an assistant professor of astrophysics. I teach students and conduct research on asteroseismology, open clusters, and eclipsing binary systems at Missouri State University. Recently, I completed my SONATA BIS and OPUS research grants at the University of Warsaw. I am also a co-head of the ARDASTELLA Research Collaboration at Missouri State University.
As a beneficiary of the "Wsparcie międzynarodowej mobilności naukowców" program, I was a visiting scientist at Iowa State University from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Missouri State University. From 2015 to 2019, I served as director of the Mount Suhora Observatory, and from 2017 to 2022, I was head of the Physics Department.
Thus far, I have taught courses in astronomy, physics, and computer science. I continue to enjoy starry nights and am currently collecting ground-based data on nearly 150 nights per year.
